How do you know a gemstone is natural?
Every stone is hand-inspected by our gemologists before it is listed, and we deal only in natural stones — never synthetics, glass or reconstituted material. Any treatment we know of, such as heating of sapphire or oiling of emerald, is disclosed on the product page. Significant stones ship with a certificate of authenticity, and you can have any stone tested at a local lab within the 7-day return window.
Do you deliver gemstones across Pakistan?
Yes — to every city in Pakistan by insured, tracked courier. Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days and delivered within 7 working days to Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Hyderabad, Bahawalpur and smaller towns. Shipping is free on orders over Rs 3,000.
Is Cash on Delivery available?
Yes. Cash on Delivery is available nationwide: you open the parcel when the courier arrives, compare the stone with its certificate, and then pay. It is the only payment method at checkout, so you never pay for a stone you have not seen.
What does “certified” mean at Pure Gems?
It means the stone has been examined by our in-house gemologists for colour, clarity, cut and carat, and significant stones come with a certificate of authenticity stating what the stone is and any known treatment. For high-value pieces we can arrange independent laboratory certification on request.
How is per-carat pricing calculated?
Each stone is weighed and priced individually: its price divided by its carat weight gives the per-carat rate shown on our price guide. Larger clean stones cost more per carat than small ones, and colour, clarity, cut, origin and treatment move the rate up or down — which is why two “neelam” of the same weight can differ many times over. Our live price guide lists the current per-carat range for every category.
Can I return a gemstone?
Yes. You have 7 days from delivery to return or exchange any stone, provided it is unused, in its original condition and returned with its certificate and packaging. Refunds for Cash on Delivery orders are paid by bank transfer once the returned stone is verified.
